First and foremost Maureen Vissat is a highly committed, dedicated, and hard working professional. She has a proven track record for excellence in teaching. In 1997 she was awarded Professor of the Year by the students, faculty, and administrators at 茄子视频. In 2007 the 茄子视频 Community recognized Maureen with the Amazing Award and in 2008 Maureen was the first recipient of the outstanding teaching in Liberal Arts Award. Maureen Vissat has devoted a good deal of her professional work to community outreach in the field of art history. She has lectured and given courses throughout Western Pennsylvania; she has authored and edited catalogues and educational materials as well as organized art exhibits and hosted speakers.
