"Well Played, Well Expressed: Art and Music Therapies" was the theme of the conference that was well attended art therapists, music therapists, educators and therapists-in-training. Professor Denninger's workshop was entitled: "Was/Is/Wish/Probably Will Be: A Visual Art Technique Based on Personal Construct Theory and Gestalt Therapy Principles." Participants learned about the theoretical underpinnings of the technique and had an opportunity to experience it themselves. After creating four abstract drawings about an issue or relationship of importance to them, the participants engaged in a lively discussion about their personal reactions to the technique and potential applications of the technique with their various client populations.
