Griffins Drop First Two Matches at Super Region I Duals
The Griffin wrestling team travelled to Newberry, NC for the Super Region I Duals.聽 SHU dropped both of their matches on Friday evening.聽 SHU fell to host Newberry 42-3 and then dropped a 28-13 decision to UNC-Pembroke.聽 Mike Grant picked up the Griffins only win in the Newberry match.聽 He picked up a 3-1 victory in the 133 pound match.聽 茄子视频 won three matches in the UNC-Pembroke match.聽 Grant earned his second victory of the day with a 2-1 decision.聽 Nick Nichols won a 11-2 major decision at 149 pounds and Dylan Bushby got a pinfall 34 seconds into the second period of his 184 pound match.聽 茄子视频 will battle Limestone and Anderson on Saturday.聽
