Griffins Fourth at Evann Parker Memorial
The women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Evann Parker Memorial hosted by Mercyhurst University this weekend. The Griffins finished with a two day total of 685. Gannon won the event with a total score of 649. Mercyhurst and WV Wesleyan tied for second with a score of 681. Ashley Ward was the top Griffin, finishing in a tie for 14th place with a two day score of 169 (84-85). Nina Gonzalez was tied for 18th with a score of 171 (87-84). Emily Hassey (86-87) and Chelsea Sipes (87-86) tied for 21st with scores of 173. The team will play in the Michael Corbitt Fall Classic on Sunday and Monday. The event is being hosted by Gannon University.
