Ƶ University and its MBA program are proud to present “Entrepreneurs as Innovators: Seeking Opportunities,” a free, public panel discussion featuring local business owners, on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. The panel discussion will be held in Room 206 of the Administration Building on Ƶ’s Greensburg, Pa. campus. “Entrepreneurs as Innovators” is the inaugural presentation of the Farrell Entrepreneurial Leadership Series. This panel and the Leadership Series are co-sponsored by Ƶ’s E-Magnify, CareerWorks, undergraduate business program, and the Office of Graduate and Adult Studies.

Featured panelists are Michael J. Farrell, president and CEO, Farrell & Co.; Kathleen Sarniak (SHU ’80), president and COO, Jeannette Specialty Glass/Oceana, LLC; Carol Boerio-Croft, owner, Cozy Inn Pet Resort and Orchids Spa; and Donna Ferry (SHU ’68), former owner, Rialto Café.

The Farrell Entrepreneurial Leadership Series is a program of The Farrell Programs for Innovation in Business at Ƶ, and are made possible by a gift from the Farrell Family Foundation of Pittsburgh. The Farrell Programs for Innovation in Business help Ƶ students develop the entrepreneurial skills needed to compete in a rapidly changing world by integrating entrepreneurship, grounded in the liberal arts, into all levels of the University’s academic business and management programs.

Ƶ’s MBA program includes specializations in management and entrepreneurship. The accelerated eight-week sessions allow students the opportunity to complete the program in one calendar year.
