Griffins Swept at Home by Clarion
The Griffins were set to battle Clarion on Saturday afternoon in an early key PSAC match.聽 The match was all Clarion as they swept the Griffins by a 3-0 score.聽 Its only the second time this season the Griffins have been swept (St Leo in the Lynn Tournament).聽 With the loss, the Griffins fall to 15-4 overall and 4-2 in PSAC play.聽 Clarion took the first set 25-18 and then blew out the Griffins in the second set by a 25-8 score.聽 Clarion closed out the Griffins with a 25-17 victory.聽 Cassie Hausfeld led the Griffins with 8 kills.聽 Katie Bloomgren and Abigail Malsch each had 8 digs while Lauren Teed added 7.聽 Shelby Kyllo had 6 blocks while Emily Gilles added 4.聽 The Griffins will have another big PSAC match on Tuesday evening when they host California (PA) at 7 PM.聽
