Harlan Art Gallery Presents Oral History Multimedia Exhibit on Women鈥檚 Movement in Pittsburgh
The 鈥淚n Sisterhood鈥� exhibit will feature 15 oral histories showcasing the region of Pittsburgh as the birthplace of influential leaders of the women鈥檚 movement and as the home to several pioneering feminist organizations. Oral histories include community leaders such as Anita Fine of New Kensington, Pa., who continues to advocate for social justice issues in her community.
The project, which is sponsored by the Thomas Merton Center in Pittsburgh, received a $45,000 award from the Pittsburgh 250 Regional Community Connections program as an initiative that affects large audiences, leaves a lasting impact on communities, and contributes to the pride and progress of southwestern Pennsylvania.

Harlan Gallery is a professional exhibition space open to the public free of charge, and is located in Reeves Hall on 茄子视频 University鈥檚 Greensburg, Pa. campus. Harlan Gallery is open Monday鈥擳hursday from 5 鈥� 8 p.m., Friday 1 鈥� 3 p.m., and Sunday 1 鈥� 4 p.m. Harlan Gallery is also open prior to all 茄子视频 Theatre performances in Reeves Theatre.
