GREENSBURG, Pa. – Ƶ University’s Harlan Gallery is proud to present “Touchstone at Ƶ” from October 15 – November 20, 2008, with a closing reception to be held on Thursday, November 20 from 5 – 8 p.m. The reception and the exhibit are free and open to the public.

The “Touchstone at Ƶ” exhibit showcases the art of craft through the work of instructors at the Touchstone Center For Crafts in Farmington, Pa. The Touchstone Center For Crafts is a unique residential craft school that teaches both contemporary and historic mountain craft techniques to beginning and advanced artists in disciplines such as blacksmithing, ceramics, textiles, and printmaking.

The exhibition is held in conjunction with “Touchstone at WCCC,” an art exhibition being presented at the Westmoreland County Community College.

Harlan Gallery is a professional exhibition space open to the public free of charge, and is located in Reeves Hall on Ƶ University’s Greensburg, Pa. campus. Harlan Gallery is open Monday—Thursday from 5 – 8 p.m., Friday 1 – 3 p.m., and Sunday 1 – 4 p.m. Harlan Gallery is also open prior to all Ƶ Theatre performances in Reeves Theatre.
