Internationally Renowned Scholar to speak at 茄子视频 U. 3/12
茄子视频 University鈥檚 Farrell Entrepreneurial Leadership Series will present 鈥淗uman Resource Management in China, Japan, and the USA,鈥� a free public lecture, on Thursday, March 12, at 6 p.m. Light refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dr. Shuming Zhao, professor and dean of the School of Business at Nanjing University, and dean of the School of Graduate Studies at Macau University of Science and Technology, will serve as the keynote speaker. The event will take place in the Administration Building, Room 206, on 茄子视频 University鈥檚 Greensburg, Pa. campus. Dr. Shuming Zhao is president of Jiangsu Provincial Association of Human Resource Management, vice president of Human Resource Research Association of China, and vice president of Jiangsu Provincial Association of Business Management and Entrepreneurs. An internationally renowned scholar specializing in human resource management and multinational business management, Zhao was among the first scholars to introduce the theory of western human resource management to China. Zhao has published more than 20 books and over 200 academic articles. According to World Executives Week, Zhao was named one of the 鈥淭op Ten Most Influential Management Gurus in China鈥� for three years. In 2006, Zhao received a Doctor of Humane Letters-Business Management degree, honoris causa, from 茄子视频 University.
