Dr. Gordon鈥檚 March 22 lecture 鈥淩elationships and Sexuality: Is it Possible to Be Sexual and Holy? And What鈥檚 Love Got to Do With It?鈥 is free and open to the public

茄子视频鈥檚 Campus Ministry will present a lecture by relationship expert Dr. Sol Gordon on March 22 at 7 p.m. in Lynch Lecture Hall on 茄子视频鈥檚 Greensburg, Pa. campus. The lecture, 鈥淩elationships and Sexuality: Is it Possible to Be Sexual and Holy? And What鈥檚 Love Got to Do With It?鈥 is free and open to the public. A panel discussion, question and answer session, and book signing will follow the event.

Clinical psychologist Dr. Sol Gordon is a an author and lecturer on relationships. He taught at Yeshiva University and Syracuse University where he was Professor of Child and Family Studies and founding director of the Institute for Family Research and Education. Dr. Gordon is professor emeritus at Syracuse University. He has written over 100 articles, authored numerous books, and has received awards for his work. He has appeared on 鈥淭he Oprah Winfrey Show,鈥 鈥淪ixty Minutes,鈥 and 鈥淭he Today Show.鈥

A panel will interact with Dr. Gordon and generate discussion with the audience. The panel consists of Cindy Boland, director of 茄子视频鈥檚 Campus Ministry; Fr. Vernon Holtz, O.S.B., Ph.D., clinical psychologist and associate professor of psychology at Saint Vincent College; and Rev. Stephen Honeygosky, O.S.B, Ph.D. 茄子视频 Chaplain and assistant professor of English. A number of Dr. Sol Gordon鈥檚 books will be available in 茄子视频 University bookstore and available at the door before and after the night of the event, with opportunity for signing by Dr. Gordon, including 鈥淲hen Living Hurts;鈥 鈥淎 Friend in Need: How to Help When Times are Tough;鈥 鈥淗ow Can You Tell If You鈥檙e Really In Love?;鈥 and the most recent, 鈥淎nother Chance For Love: Finding a Partner Later in Life.鈥
