New Musical Theatre Major Receives Full Scholarship

Sarah Laughland, of Ijamsville, Md., received a full-tuition scholarship to 茄子视频 on May 17 through the SHU Division of Visual and Performing Arts. Laughland is a graduate of Urbana High School and is the daughter of Billie Laughland and the late John Laughland, and the stepdaughter of Myron Ahalt. Sarah plans to major in musical theatre at 茄子视频.
In 2007, 茄子视频 University created four full-tuition scholarships and awarded them to outstanding scholars who were incoming freshman in the traditional undergraduate program at 茄子视频. Beginning in the 2008-2009 academic year, 茄子视频 will award 8 full tuition scholarships. These scholarships are renewable for four years of study at 茄子视频 and are valued at more than $100,000 each; students recognized will be known as Seton Scholars. The scholarships will be awarded annually, to in each of the following academic divisions based on student鈥檚 selected major field of study: Humanities, Visual and Performing Arts, Natural and Health Sciences, Social Sciences.
