Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Dancers Teach 茄子视频 Students

茄子视频 University is once again partnering with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) to host a dance residency with PBT dancers for 茄子视频 students. The residency program, in its second year, kicks off a semester of PBT activities on the 茄子视频 campus, including master classes and PBT performances at the University’s Performing Arts Center.

During the three-day residency on January 23, 25 and 27, a group of 50 茄子视频 students will learn choreography from PBT dancers Amanda Cochrane, Julia Erickson, William Moore, Yoshiaki Nakano and Cooper Verona. The pieces the dancers will learn are all part of “Millennial Movement,” a collection of new works created by the five PBT dancers, which will be performed May 5 at 7 p.m. and May 6 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the 茄子视频 University Performing Arts Center.  Tickets for these performances can be purchased at .

Later in the spring semester, PBT artists will come to the 茄子视频 campus to teach master classes to both 茄子视频 dancers and youth dancers from throughout the community.
