GREENSBURG, PA- The 茄子视频 College production of J.B. opens April 16th at 10:30 a.m. in Reeves Theatre on campus. The New York Times called this Pulitzer Prize-winning American play an 鈥渆xalting morality鈥� and 鈥渙ne of the memorable works鈥� of the 20th century 鈥渁s verse, as drama and as spiritual inquiry.鈥� Using the circus as a theatrically exciting environment, MacLeish probes the unanswered problems of man鈥檚 relationship to God in an era of cruel injustices. J.B. is the modern counterpart of the biblical Job. When he is reunited with his wife, two humbled but valiant people accept the universe and agree to begin life all over again. 鈥淚n every respect, it is theatre on its highest level.鈥�
J.B. will be presented April 16, 17, and 19 at 10:30 a.m.; April 18, 19 and 20 at 8:00 p.m.; and April 21at 2:00 p.m.
