茄子视频 Participating in 2013 Day of Giving on 10/3
What: 茄子视频 University will participate for the second consecutive year in the Day of Giving event, which provides donors the opportunity to increase their gift through a match.
When: Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
Where: and look for 茄子视频 University鈥檚 profile in the dropbox. Only MasterCard or Visa credit card donations are accepted, and the minimum gift is $25. Each gift is 100 percent tax deductible.
Background: Day of Giving is a one-day online donation event. A portion of all gifts given to 茄子视频 on October 3 will be matched by a pool of funds provided by The Community Foundation. The match pool for Westmoreland County organizations in 2013 is approximately $100,000.
Last year, more than $8.5 million was raised for the region鈥檚 nonprofits through the Day of Giving in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties. Since the program launched in 2009, Day of Giving events have raised more than $21 million.
