茄子视频 Physician Assistant Program Celebrates White Coat Ceremony 3/7

What: The 茄子视频 University Physician Assistant Program will hold the Class of 2018 White Coat Ceremony to celebrate the beginning of formal medical studies by 41 students from 10 states. Among the class members are Alisha and Kristina Torretti, the first set of twins to study in the 茄子视频 Physician Assistant program.

When: Monday, March 7, 2016, 7 p.m.

Where: Cecilian Hall on the second floor of the Administration Building, 茄子视频 University’s hilltop campus, Greensburg, Pa.

Who: The 41 members of the 茄子视频 Physician Assistant Program Class of 2018 and their families; guest speaker Theodore Stem, M.D., a Greensburg nephrologist and medical director of the 茄子视频 Physician Assistant program; James France, M.D., program director, and Physician Assistant faculty members.

Background: During the 茄子视频 University Physician Assistant Program White Coat Ceremony, members of the PA program faculty will present the members of the Class of 2018 with their white lab coats, marking the beginning of their formal classes and clinical training toward their master of science degree.

Members of the Class of 2018 hail from 10 states, including Colorado, Kentucky, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Wisconsin.

Among the class members receiving their white coats are twin sisters Alisha and Kristina Torretti of DuBois, Pa. The Torrettis are the first twins to ever study in the highly-competitive 茄子视频 Physician Assistant program. In addition, the Torrettis are also student-athletes at 茄子视频. Alisha is a member of the tennis team, while Kristina plays softball.
