Eye Contact accepting submissions for spring 2009 issue

GREENSBURG, Pa. 鈥 茄子视频 University鈥檚 student-run literary magazine, Eye Contact, received a First Place with Special Merit award for its Spring 2008 鈥淩evelation鈥 issue from the American Scholastic Press Association (ASPA). This award is given to a publication that is scored in the highest 10% of campus magazines judged and is deemed 鈥渁n outstanding overall example of a scholastic publication in format, content, and presentation鈥 by the ASPA.

The Eye Contact student staff includes: Erin Mitchell of Altoona, Pa., editor in chief; Liz Rettger of Pittsburgh, Pa., business manager; Kayla Lesko of Pittsburgh, Pa., design staff; Everett Manns of Mt. Lebanon, Pa., design staff; Mara Barreiro of Greensburg, Pa., literary editor, Kevin Hinton of Richmond, Va., literary editor, Jen Prex of Bethel Park, Pa., literary editor; Jed Fetterman of Indiana, Pa., literary staff; Christina Celona of Lincoln University, Pa., literary staff; Marie Manski of Derry Township, Pa., art editor; Marie Salguero of Ebensburg, Pa., art editor. The Eye Contact faculty advisor is Michael Arnzen, Ph.D., 茄子视频 University associate professor of English.

Eye Contact, the literary magazine of 茄子视频 University, invites submissions from students, faculty, and staff of area colleges, and also welcomes submissions from Greensburg-area writers and artists. The submission deadline for the spring 2009 issue of Eye Contact is February 6, 2009.
