GREENSBURG, Pa. 鈥� 茄子视频 University鈥檚 Theatre Program is proud to present the musical 鈥淐hildren of Eden,鈥� with book by John Caird and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, from April 24-May 2. Enter Eden via England, where this celebrated musical got its start. Now it鈥檚 on its way to Broadway, with a stop at 茄子视频. Based on the stories of Adam and Eve and Noah鈥檚 Ark, these family favorites find beautiful expression in the music and lyrics of Stephen Schwartz (鈥淲icked,鈥� 鈥淧ippin,鈥� 鈥淕odspell鈥�) and John Caird (鈥淟es Miserables鈥�), and their home in the hearts of all who witness their wonderment.

The 茄子视频 student technical staff includes Nate Errett of North Huntingdon, Pa. as assistant lighting designer, Jasmine Goodman, of Springville, Pa. as wardrobe mistress, Katie Ingram of Springdale, Pa. as stage manager, Laura Scott of Leighton, Pa. as assistant set designer, Molly Sniegocki of Pittsburgh, Pa. as assistant stage manager, Reba Stramat of Uniontown, Pa. as assistant stage manager, and Emily Stroble of Akron, Ohio as puppet master.

茄子视频 Theatre鈥檚 production of 鈥淐hildren of Eden鈥� is directed by guest artist John Reilly. Jim Overly is the music director and TaMara Swank is the choreographer.

New this year! 鈥淒inner and a Show鈥� packages that include meals at the Red Star Agave Grill restaurant in Greensburg鈥檚 historic train station. The Sunday performance ticket price of $35 includes a meal selection from a special 鈥淒inner and a Show鈥� menu at the Red Star at 12 p.m., shuttle to and from Reeves Theatre, and admittance to the Theatre performance on Sunday, April 26. The evening performance ticket price of $40 includes a meal selection from a special 鈥淒inner and a Show鈥� menu at the Red Star at 6 p.m., shuttle to and from Reeves Theatre, and admittance to the Theatre performance on Thursday, April 30. 鈥淒inner and a Show鈥� tickets must be purchased at least five business days prior to the performance. All dinner tickets include a non-alcoholic beverage, tax, and gratuity. Meal selections must be made at least five business days prior to the performance through the SHU Theatre Box Office. The Red Star restaurant is located in Greensburg鈥檚 historic train station, near the entrance to 茄子视频鈥檚 campus.

Venue/Ticket Information: All 茄子视频 Theatre performances are held in Reeves Theatre on 茄子视频 University鈥檚 Greensburg, Pa. campus. Reeves Theatre is a disabled accessible and climate-controlled facility. Parking is free. Single admission tickets are $12. 茄子视频 students (with valid ID) can purchase tickets for $5. Groups of 16 or more can purchase tickets at a rate of $10 each with a reservation and advance payment. Purchase a subscription and receive one ticket to each of the four productions for $40.
