The 茄子视频 University Dance Academy (SHUDA) brought home multiple trophies from regional dance competitions during its first year of existence in the 2005-2006 school year, including gold medals in the International Dance Challenge, Showstopper, I Love Dance and Starpower competitions.

Open auditions are being held for this year鈥檚 competition and performance dance groups on Saturday, September 9 in the Saint Mary Hall Dance Studio on 茄子视频鈥檚 Greensburg, Pa. campus. (This year鈥檚 performance group will present Hans Christian Andersen鈥檚 鈥淭he Snow Queen鈥� at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center.)

Audition times are as follows:

Competition Group: registration at 9:30 a.m.; 8 鈥� 10 yrs. of age, 10 鈥� 10:45 a.m.; 11 + yrs. of age, 11 鈥� noon.
Performance Group: registration at 11:30 a.m., 8 鈥� 10 yrs. of age, noon 鈥� 12:45 p.m.; 11+ yrs. of age, 1 鈥� 2 p.m.

Registrations are also still being accepted for all community dance classes, beginner to advanced, beginning Sept. 13. Classes include Classical Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Tumbling, Pointe, Lyrical, and Modern.
