Rachel Berthold, a Bethlehem-Center High School graduate from Fredericktown, Pennsylvania and freshman at 茄子视频 University, is the recipient of the first Pennsylvania Governor鈥檚 Conference for Women Scholarship given at 茄子视频. The scholarship, $2500 a year renewable for four years, is awarded on the basis of financial need, academic success, work history and goals, community service and personal challenges overcome. Berthold will be honored at 茄子视频 University鈥檚 Honors Convocation on September 13 and at the 2006 Pennsylvania Governor鈥檚 Conference for Women on September 14 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.
