Gov. Ed Rendell鈥檚 re-nomination of Christine Mueseler, vice president for Institutional Advancement at 茄子视频 University, Greensburg, PA, to the Pennsylvania Public Television Network (PPTN) Commission, has been confirmed by the state Senate, the network reported April 19.

Mueseler鈥檚 appointment received the unanimous approval of the Senate Wednesday, April 18. She was appointed initially to the Commission by Governor Tom Ridge. She is the chairwoman of PPTN鈥檚 Station Grants Committee and is also a member of the Executive Committee and Foundation Exploration/Future Initiative Committee.

Mueseler, of Greensburg, Pa., has worked at 茄子视频 since 1991 in several capacities, including director of the 茄子视频 University Women鈥檚 History Center. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in history from 茄子视频 University, a Master of Arts in history from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has completed doctoral coursework in higher education administration at the University of Pittsburgh. She has been vice president for Institutional Advancement at 茄子视频 University for 10 years and, in that capacity, she manages marketing, media relations, alumni relations and fundraising for the University.
