Student Uses Graphic Design Skills – and Marketing Savvy – to Promote Greensburg

Molly Zindash (SHU ’16) is becoming an expert at using her graphic design talents – and a smart combination of both traditional and social media marketing skills - to promote the city of Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

As an intern with the Greensburg Community Development Corporation, Molly developed the “Greensburg’s newest and brightest” theme for a special Explore Greensburg section of Whirl Magazine. In addition to writing content for the special feature – which will highlight six new  Greensburg businesses, autumn events and fall jewelry fashion – Molly coordinated the magazine’s Greensburg photo shoot.

The colorful “Greensburg” filter for Snapchat that incorporates ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ’s new Arts Center is also Molly’s creation.

"One of the best things about my internship is seeing my work in a real life setting,” Molly says. "Overall my whole experience of interning at GCDC so far is fantastic. I am learning so much and I do honestly think this is one of the greatest experiences I could ever have asked for."
