Tony Krance Finalist for CISO of the Year Award from Pittsburgh Technology Council
Tony Krance, the Executive Director of Information Technology and Information Security Officer at 茄子视频 University, was a finalist for the CISO of the Year – Megabyte Award from the Pittsburgh Technology Council and the Greater Pittsburgh CIO Group.
The awards serve to honor the exceptional leaders who have fueled Pittsburgh’s tech revolution and driven innovation throughout the city’s ever-growing tech industry.
Krance joined 茄子视频 in 2019 and has has built a comprehensive program incorporating 茄子视频 students in the defense of cybercrime through work study and graduate assistant programs. His focus in cybersecurity has spanned more than two decades, primarily working with nonprofits and schools. Last year, Krance led an Alumni College Lunch and Learn on cybersecurity, offering practical tips to avoid having personal information compromised.
