Seminar to be offered at 茄子视频 University April 20

The 茄子视频 University Social Work program, in partnership with the United Way of Westmoreland County and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, will present 鈥淚 Am Not Who You See: Understanding and Treating Eating Disorders鈥 on April 20. The seminar will take place from 9 鈥 11 a.m. (with a continental breakfast provided from 8:30 to 9 a.m.) in room 308 of the Administration Building on 茄子视频鈥檚 Greensburg, Pa. campus. The cost is $20 per person (no charge for 茄子视频 students), with an additional $10 for licensed social workers desiring two CEUs. 鈥淚 Am Not Who You See: Understanding and Treating Eating Disorders鈥 will feature a presentation by Liz McCabe, LSW, Clinical Administrator, Eating Disorders and Behavioral Medicine and Director of Social Work, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, and Amy E. Mueller, LSW, Program Coordinator, Eating Disorders Clinic, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. McCabe and Mueller will discuss what types of treatment are most effective for individuals with eating disorders and how family members and professionals can help. They will also present recent research findings and respond to questions from the audience.
