The beloved story of the March sisters takes the audience on an adventure with Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy as they discover the thrill of independence, the mysteries of love and the job and sorrows of family in this musical adaptation of an American classic. Led by the irrepressible Jo, the March sisters struggle with the heartache of the Civil war and the power of their own dreams.

weaves memorable tales from Indian folklore and mythology that unfold through rich, traditional South Indian classical dance forms. An intricate language of hand gestures combined with dramatic facial expressions will take the audience on a colorful journey to India. Music, colorful costumes and narration embellishes the program. This is an engaging and interactive performance that allows participants of all ages to learn about India and its culture. are renowned artists from the United States and India whose performances and outreach programs tour widely.

Kevin M. McManus holds a Bachelor of Science degree in music education from , a graduate performer鈥檚 certificate from the , and a Master of Music degree from . McManus has performed on Broadway and completed two first national tours of the shows and In the summer of 2009, McManus was a featured soloist in Pittsburgh鈥檚 production of 鈥淪wing!鈥 He has performed with such artists as: Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra Jr., Josh Groban, Wayne Newton, Frankie Vallie and The Four Seasons, Aretha Franklin, Pattie LaBelle, Glen Campbell, Maureen McGovern, Isaac Hayes, Lou Rawls, Gloria Gaynor,The Temptations, The Four Tops, Don Rickles, Regis Philban and The Manhattan Transfer. He has performed with the Pittsburgh and Wheeling Symphony Orchestras and the River City and Reunion Brass Bands. McManus is the founder and leader of: The Bone Forum, a jazz 10 trombone ensemble with rhythm section, The Collective Jazz Octet, a swingin鈥 eight piece jazz chamber ensemble and The Pittsburgh Trombone Project. He can be seen internationally on PBS鈥檚 鈥淢y Music鈥 and 鈥淎merican Soundtrack Series.鈥 McManus is currently a faculty member at of , , and .

The will close its 27th season with the music of pilgrims, Pittsburgh, psalms and patriots. Ron Nelson鈥檚 鈥淢ayflower Overture鈥 depicts the pilgrims鈥 travel to the New World. Pittsburgh鈥檚 own Joseph Wilcox Jenkins is featured in his 鈥淭artan Suite.鈥 Minnesota composer John Zdechlik鈥檚 鈥淧salm 46鈥 celebrates a famous Lutheran hymn. The concert will close with 鈥淎merica the Beautiful.鈥
