茄子视频 University鈥檚 Harlan Gallery will present an exhibit showcasing the work of artist Ben Golden, titled 鈥淏en Golden: Remnants and Remembrance, Berlin 2005鈥 October 1-29. A reception will be held Thursday, October 1, from 4-7 p.m. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

The exhibit consists of a selection of photographs Golden took in Berlin in 2005, documenting the "remnants" of the Holocaust in that city. Golden has donated two large bodies of photographic work to 茄子视频 and the National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education. Docent tours can be arranged.

鈥淏erlin today is so aware of its horrendous history that everywhere there are remnants, reminders, memorials, and displays to educate today鈥檚 Germans as to what their ancestors did. Berlin is also striving to recapture its intellectual and artistic past. It is reflected all over the city, in its most remote sections,鈥 said Golden of Berlin in 2005.

Harlan Gallery is a professional exhibition space open to the public free of charge, and is located in Reeves Hall on 茄子视频鈥檚 Greensburg, Pa. campus.
