After a few years, it was opened to all students in the area. Kathleen Campbell, associate professor of music at 茄子视频 University, has been involved from the beginning, starting this program just a few years after she began the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds, the wind ensemble in residence at 茄子视频. Through the years there have been various guest conductors, with Dr. Theodore DiSanti, 茄子视频 University associate professor of music, conducting last year鈥檚 group. This year鈥檚 conductor, Mr. Kevin McManus, is an adjunct professor of trombone at 茄子视频, where he teaches trombone and is the director of the jazz ensemble.
