Youth Honors Jazz Band
About the Band
Auditions are open to students in grades 6, 7, and 8 who play trumpet, trombone, saxophone, piano, guitar, bass, or drum set. Jazz students in grades 6, 7 and 8 are encouraged to prepare the required solo and audition for the ensemble. The auditioned band meets for three rehearsals and performs at the 茄子视频 University Faculty Jazz Concert in the Reichgut Concert Hall in 茄子视频’s Performing Arts Center. The Jazz Band will be directed by Dr. Ted DiSanti, Director of the Commercial Music Program at 茄子视频 University.
Audition Video Submissions are due by the Thanksgiving Holiday Break.
There is a fee of $10 to audition and a fee of $65 to participate if selected for the band.
