What:�� ������Ƶ University will host its annual “Lunch with Liz” program, celebrating the life and history of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, founder of the Sisters of Charity of ������Ƶ – the University’s founding order. The event helps the ������Ƶ community become familiar with Elizabeth Ann Seton and aware of how her spirit continues to direct and enliven the life of the Sisters of Charity and ������Ƶ University. This year’s theme is “100 Years Forward,” and celebrates the Centennial Year of ������Ƶ’s founding as a four-year college for women in 1918.

When: Tuesday, March 20, 2018; 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Background: During the Lunch with Liz program, “100 Years Forward,” the ������Ƶ community will share the story of ������Ƶ’s founding as a four-year college in 1918 by the Sisters of Charity and how the Sisters and Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton continue to influence the university today.

As ������Ƶ University marks its Centennial in 2018, the event will include a theatrical presentation with students portraying various members of the ������Ƶ community throughout the past 100 years and will explore Elizabeth Ann Seton’s legacy through the Sisters of Charity and the University.
