Six ������Ƶ faculty members and three students are featured in the “Artists Who Teach” and “Students of Artists Who Teach” exhibits at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

“Artists Who Teach,” which opened Aug. 25, features more than 100 works of art from 58 teaching artists from colleges and universities in southwestern Pennsylvania. The exhibition, organized by chief curator Barbara Jones, includes painting, sculpture, photography, video, stained glass and mixed media. 

������Ƶ faculty members featured in the exhibit include David Stanger, Brian Ferrell, Carol Brode, Richard Stoner, Ken Nicholson and Patricia Beachley.   

Each artist could also invite one of their students to participate in the “Students of Artists Who Teach” exhibit, which was juried by Jones and curatorial assistant Bonnie West. The student exhibit opened on Sept. 14 and features artwork from Paige Tibbe (SHU ’18), Gabby Walton (SHU ’18) and Laura Rosner (SHU ’18). 

“Artists Who Teach” will be on display in the Cantilever Gallery until Nov. 25. Artwork from the students is on display in the Robertshaw Gallery until Oct. 14. The Westmoreland Museum of American Art is located at 211 North Main St., Greensburg, Pa.
